About Hosts:
Daniela “Nella” Sanclemente is a fiery Aries sign She is originally from Cali, Colombia but grew up most of her life in Long Island, NY. When she’s not doing indoor or outdoor skating, she’s learning fun trivia facts or sunbathing at the park. Nella currently attends the University at Albany and is studying to pursue her Masters of Public Health. She is super excited to help Klarisse put this program on and ensure everyone has a fun and safe space to learn
Klarisse Torriente is an Earth sign Kween who dabbles in all things disco, just with roller skates. She/They have loved to move their body in all ways possible since infancy. This love for movement and the outdoors has filled her life with high school and college athletics, half and full marathons, and miles on top of miles on her roller skates. Klarisse teaches for a community college and formerly coached middle school track. You can find her at the roller rink, any skate park, or street skating/dancing through a city nearest you.
"Rollerskating for me saved my life, it helped center my thoughts and taught me body awareness, patience, the power of community, humility, and even unearthed some of my shadows: jealousy and competitiveness. In an era of social media and instant gratification it can seem like people are leveling up really fast, but we have to learn how to work our own programs, be our own skaters, we are humans and we are learning and we begin to compare, we will bring ourselves down as a collective." -Klarisse
Agenda:
9am- Introductions
930am-10:15am -break up into groups based on level you can skate (section skaters based on current capacity, not the regarding tricks)

Group 2. Can you 180 on a quarter pipe, can you come down fakie, can you air 180?
Group 3. You can do everything above and are working on dropping in?
Group 4. You can do everything above and are working on stalls and slides?
10:15-10:30am -whole group warm up led by Klarisse & “park etiquette” share
10:30am-11:40am -break out into groups and start your coaching sessions
11:40am-12:00pm -cool down & have everyone go around and share a “hot take” something they learned or have feedback around for next time
