Inner Wisdom Breathwork Ceremony

Let your breath be your guide!

You are invited to join John on a journey with your own breath in this powerful session. Using a practice called the conscious connected breath (or infinity breath), you will empower yourself through tuning into your intuitive inner guide. Unlock the wisdom of your body. See what beauty and insights are shown to you. Feel the life force energy flowing through you. Honor yourself by doing this deep work and take a journey into your own internal wisdom. By doing so, you will leave with a new level of belief in your own intuitive powers.

What to expect: 20-30 minute introduction to the breathing practice and potential experiences from this breathwork. 5 minute guided meditation to promote relaxation and connection with the breath. 60 minutes of breathing to a curated playlist designed to facilitate a powerful journey. 15-20 minutes for integration, questions, and journaling.

What to bring:

  • Water

  • Journal & Pen/Pencil

  • Eye mask (optional)

  • Anything you need to be comfortable lying down for 60 mins– yoga mat or pad, blanket, pillow (preferably a flat one that’s not too fluffy), extra pillow for under the knees if needed. This breathworth can be done sitting up for those who need it, but most find it easier to do lying down.

  • Inhaler for those who have asthma.

About the host:

John is a certified Oxygen Advantage functional breathing coach who has been learning to harness the power of the breath for years through many different practices and ceremonies. He is also in the process of getting certified as a Neurodynamic Breathwork Facilitator. He has been certified to facilitate sacred spaces and hold space for others, including through the Men’s Mental Wellness Meet-up for Noteworthy Resources. A certified personal trainer who has taught boxing, kickboxing, and Muay-Thai, he has long valued both physical and mental wellness. Now he is focused on helping people unlock the power of their breath to potentially promote a state of ease, release stored trauma, and cultivate self-empowerment. Let John help you experience the true power of your breath in a safe, supportive container that allows you to go deep within yourself to find the forgotten wisdom there.

Disclosure:

Please reach out if you have any of the following conditions or situations, as they are contraindicative to doing breathwork:

  • Pregnancy

  • epilepsy

  • a detached retina

  • glaucoma

  • uncontrolled high blood pressure

  • cardiovascular disease including prior heart attack

  • prior diagnosis by a Medical Professional of manic disorder, bipolar disorder or schizophrenia

  • strokes

  • TIAs

  • seizures or other brain/neurological conditions

  • history of aneurysms in your immediate family

  • use of prescription blood thinners such as Coumadin

  • hospitalization for any psychiatric condition or emotional crisis within the last ten years

  • osteoporosis that is serious enough whereby intense movement could cause physical issues and prior physical injuries that are not fully healed and could be re-injured through intense movement.
