All of our guests go home with their very own handcrafted smudge sticks created with their own intentions and positive vibes, they will also take home a packet of all the content such as, brief history of smudging, how to make them, how the different color string, herbs, roses and flowers correlate with our chakras, what all the herbs represent and their healing properties, how to use a smudge stick and etc.

This would be a great gift for others, but most importantly a gift for you- this workshop is educational, empowering & you get to network with other like-minded individuals from the community!!

NWR provides fresh locally grown flowers and herbs (sage, lavender, cedar, rosemary, thyme, and oregano) from community gardens in Catskill & Albany, NY.

This workshop does not dive into the rich, historic and honorable practices of indigenous tribes that use this practice for their rituals ceremonies, healing, and medicinal practices within their traditions.

This is a workshop to promote self-empowerment, self-growth to give participants the resources to grow their own herbs to make their own smudge sticks. Many people think that white sage (which is not grown locally here for us to use) is the only healing, negative clearing and purifying herb to use for smudging and it is not true! There are so many herbs we can use that are healing, protective, and cleansing rather than buying from big companies that only want to profit off of these healing practices and take herbs from native lands.
