We have started this book club because the winters can be long and isolating on top of the pandemic. Our aim is to have something to look forward every month with some Zoom social interaction, while learning new things & having discussion.

1ST BOOK WE ARE READING TOGETHER IS: Witches, Sluts, Feminists by Kristen J. Sollee** I looked it up on the library website and it looks like it's only available as an ebook on the Hoopla library app. But you can also order a physical copy or kindle version online or at a bookstore. And again, you can do audio books.

We decided to have a check-in biweekly so our next meeting is 2/18/21 at 6pm. We'll be discussing the book at the halfway mark (page 82 out of 163-it's not a long book).

FYI: you are not required to purchase the book, especially if money is tight. You can get the book physically from the library, use the Libby or Hoopla apps. All you need to connect to these are your library card & it’s free. The apps have both ebooks and audio books. If you need help getting a library card please let us know. You are also not required to read, you can listen to audio books if that’s easier for you.
