Rachelle "Chelle" Pean is our Januray meeting guest speaker that will provide us with empowering insights on how journaling is a part of our mental wellness and self-care!
Chelle is a social worker working as a mental health therapist and a yoga instructor. Chelle works full time as a therapist at Samaritan Hospital with adults with mental health diagnoses, teaches a weekly Namaslay Sunday class at Yoga Bliss on the Blvd. (self care yoga with a hip hop soundtrack), and teaches a biweekly trauma informed yoga at the YWCA.
She also co facilitates "Curl Circle" with Karyn Dyer, a community group for women to uplift themselves and others through their natural hair journey. She has the core belief that EVERYONE has the ability to heal themselves, as long as they are paying attention to their WHOLE self: mind, body, and soul.
NWR encourages all of our MHHH guests to attend this wonderful meeting to promote healthy choices for our lives and personal well-being !
